If I had trained as a Mariene, I wouldn’t have needed an airport to arrive in Thailand, YEllow Shirts, Red Shirts, after eight days, one would think maybe brown shirts, 40,000 people, How many loos? Darren from England who met a beauty and fell in love right here at THE BRITANNIA. She has another feller mate I told you not to go home. To all our friend from Holland, too many to list all their names. To Mark from Liverpool, who listened to me and is now woundering around the Himalayas looking for a Guru. Om Shanti Mark you can come back when your 60ish. To Lady Lucky, from Vancouver, the delightful hippie lady of the 60s God bless your heart,it;s so full of good things. Rarely do we get what we want but we always get what we need, indeed as tiered as we may get, we have been enriched by those that have past our way. THE Majour and Dell Boy who live high in the Himalayas, both craving for a smoke but declineing for fear of the Thai laws, You invited us both back to stay with youi in India, Hope we can make it. To Joe a great Guy and friend who came back twice in 4 months, then married one of our staff, keep working Joe she needs the money. and Congratulations to you both. see you next month. To the rather large guy from California, whoes name I have shamefully forgotten, nonetheless left us for the 36 hour slow baot ride to Laos, who came to us reccomended by Sue whom he met in Peru, Thanks Sue.
To The French tour operator who tried to barter us down on the room rate, I;m a Cockney darling so no chance, but nice try, Bonjour and all that stuff, but we will se you again in July with a fresh lot of adventure seeking companions, book early darling if you need so many rooms. To that lovely Italian couple from beautifull Florence, nice to meet you and arriverderci.
To the German and Indian chefs that stayed and wanted to play in our kitchen, wounderful food guys your welcome back anytime think they just wanted a busmens holiday really. To that couple from Chillie who went trekking in the jungle back in June. You made a wrong turn somewhwere, we’re still waiting your return, can’t keep the room forever.
To the many Spanish, Italian, Dutch, German, Swiss Ploish, Russian, Isralie, Canadian, Auss, Kiwi, Malay, Chinese, Korean, Swedish Norwiegen, Danish and not forgetting American and Brit guest that have past through our doors, slept in our beds in 2008.
